Senior & Junior Teams Blog: Quick Progress Summary

Mercedes Vela Carriazo.
Our e-Twinning teams are officially hard at work! While the Senior Analysts & Designers are busy building the final layouts, our Junior team has laid the groundwork with essential data.
Here is a quick snapshot of the main information and core activities currently underway, with no student names included:
Activity A: Infographic Design & Research Centralization
Junior Foundation: The team centralized foundational research on blister prevention and nutrition into a shared Google Drive folder and organized it side-by-side on a Notion "Junior Research Hub" page.
Senior Execution: Using this research, the team is building two visual assets in Canva/Genially:
“The Blister Survival Kit” – A visual step-by-step process guide using minimalist medical icons.
“Fuel for the Road” – A data-driven horizontal bar chart (which can live-sync with the Juniors' data sheets) comparing the efficiency and energy levels of different snacks.
Activity B: Technical Writing, Planning & The Pilgrim's Menu
Junior Foundation: The team conducted deep nutritional research on pilgrim "superfoods" (nuts, dark chocolate, and bananas). They used online tools to calculate that a pilgrim burns an extra 1,200 to 1,500 calories on a 20km stage and compiled a lightweight "Backpack Menu" featuring a simple "no-bake" or "easy-bake" homemade energy bar recipe.
Senior Execution: Building upon these nutritional parameters, the team is drafting practical and scientific guides for long-distance walkers:
Hydration Article – A 150–200 word piece detailing cell hydration and glycogen replenishment.
8-Week Walking Plan – A color-coded training schedule that safely builds stamina from 5km up to 20km, including mandatory rest and strength days.
All the final products can be found in materials--->guild 5 and inside forum guild 5.
