International Collaboration through eTwinning – Discovering the Way of Saint James

As part of our eTwinning project focused on the Way of Saint James (El Camino de Santiago), students and teachers from several European partner schools worked together to explore the historical, cultural, spiritual, and environmental importance of this famous pilgrimage route. Through collaboration and creative activities, we strengthened our communication, digital, and teamwork skills while learning about European heritage and traditions.

🏫 Our partner schools included:

🇷🇴 Colegiul Economic “Octav Onicescu” Botoșani – Romania
🇮🇹 IIS. Fratelli Testa – Nicosia, Italy
🇪🇸 IES La Serna – Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Spain
🇩🇪 St. Jacobus-Schule – Breckerfeld, Germany
🇹🇷 Artvin Kazım Karabekir Anatolian High School – Türkiye
🇮🇹 Istituto Istruzione Superiore “Eugenio Montale” – Milan, Italy
🇬🇧 Neil Armstrong High School – Valdemoro, Madrid

📚 During the project, we created presentations, digital materials, collaborative activities, posters, and interactive content inspired by the Camino de Santiago. We discovered the traditions, symbols, routes, and cultural diversity connected to the pilgrimage while sharing ideas and experiences with our international partners.

💡 The project helped us better understand the values of friendship, perseverance, solidarity, intercultural dialogue, and respect for European cultural heritage. It also encouraged us to reflect on sustainable tourism and the importance of protecting cultural and natural environments along the Camino routes.

🥾✨ The Way of Saint James connects cultures, people, and traditions across Europe.
